Give Me Friction

I just returned from a family reunion. It’s the most time we’ve spent together in 50 years and it was cathartic.

You might think a woman like me would be well past the silliness of hiding things in her bra. But not so much.

I don’t need to prove my feminist bona fides. Gender is a trap I’m side-stepping. I love him just the way he is.

I sit and sit and write and write. Then it happens. The big catastrophe. I read what I’ve written. And it sucks. So, how’s your day going?
